Warranty and complaints

Warranty

 

We care about our products and naturally do our best to deliver them to you in top condition. However, it sometimes happens that an order is damaged during transport or something else happens that entitles you to a warranty claim. Legally, you are obligated to report the defect to us within two months of discovering it. If the defect is covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace it free of charge.

  1. Legal Warranty (European regulations):

Under European law, you have the right to a free repair, replacement, or refund if a product does not conform to the agreement. This right applies for a period of two years from the date of delivery. This means that we are responsible for any defect that becomes apparent within this period, provided that the defect is due to a manufacturing defect or another cause not attributable to the consumer.

  1. Additional Warranty under Dutch Law:

In addition to the statutory warranty, you may have additional rights under Dutch law. For example, if a product becomes defective shortly after purchase, you may be entitled to a full refund or replacement under certain circumstances. This is especially true for serious defects that occur shortly after purchase.

  1. Warranty period:

The warranty period begins on the date of delivery and lasts for at least two years, unless otherwise stated. Longer warranty periods may apply to specific products based on the manufacturer’s warranty.

  1. Warranty Claims Procedure:
  • Contact UsIf you discover a defect or problem, please contact our customer service as soon as possible at contact@darkstormdefense.com . Please include your order number, a description of the problem, and, if possible, supporting images (photos or videos).
  • Judgement: Our service team will assess the claim within five working days and contact you about the next steps.
  • Repair or replacementIf your warranty claim is approved, we will provide a free repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the severity of the defect.

  1. Exceptions to the Warranty: The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
  • Incorrect use or use contrary to instructions.
  • Self-performed, unauthorized repairs.
  • Normal wear and tear of consumables (such as batteries, cables and chargers).
  • Accidents, neglect or external factors such as water damage.
  1. Shipping costs:

In the event of a valid warranty claim, Dark Storm Defense will cover the shipping costs for returning the product after repair. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to ship the product with track & trace.

Unless otherwise agreed, you as the customer are responsible for the shipping costs for sending the product to us.

Complaints

 

It can always happen that something doesn’t go exactly as planned. We recommend that you first report any complaints to us by emailing contact@globalboxcompany.com . As of February 15, 2016, consumers in the EU can also submit complaints via the European Commission’s ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found a thttp://ec.europa.eu/odrIf your complaint is not yet being handled elsewhere, you are free to file your complaint via the European Union platform.
